Behaviour and Welfare
Here at Salfords Primary our children experience a climate of self-worth, co-operation and trust. Pupils are challenged to recognise their strengths and improve their weaknesses to become the best that they can be. We have 4 core values which guide our children to achieve this.
These are:
Strive for Excellence (Brunel)
Respect for other (Redgrave)
Have the Courage to try (Rowling)
Treat people with Kindness (Nightingale)
Our core values are strongly linked to our House System. Each house team promotes one of the school values; these are then used within our Positive Reward System. The core values are known and respected by the school community and are displayed in each classroom alongside the house points. They are taught in assemblies and throughout the PSHE programme and are revisited with the children at every opportunity.
Please take a look at our Behaviour Policy below for more information on our expectations, behaviour chart and reward system.
