We are a nut aware school and ask that parents/carers do not send nuts, peanuts or products containing nuts into school.

If a food item is found to contain nuts, or we are unable to confirm that it is nut-free (for example, an unlabelled food item), we may ask the child not to eat it. We will contact parents/carers to discuss this and provide an alternative snack, such as fruit, where appropriate.

Thank you for helping us keep all pupils safe. If you have any questions, please contact the School Office.

School Meals

From September 2026, our school meals will be provided by Aspens.

Aspens offers freshly prepared, nutritious school lunches each day, with a range of meal choices designed to appeal to children while meeting national school food standards. Daily options include a main meal, vegetarian choice, jacket potato option, fresh salad, bread, yoghurt and fruit. Our current menu can be found below.

Free School Meals

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal, funded by the Government. We encourage all eligible children to take advantage of this offer and enjoy a healthy, freshly prepared school lunch each day.

Children who are eligible for Free School Meals will also continue to receive their meals free of charge. If you believe your child/ren are entitled to Free School Meals, please complete and return the Free School Meal Eligibility form attached at the bottom of the page.

Paid School Meals

For Nursery children and KS2, School meals cost £2.80 payable via SchoolGrid.

SchoolGrid

SchoolGrid is an online meal ordering system which allows parents and carers to:

  • View menus in advance
  • Order and cancel meals from home
  • View recipes and ingredient information
  • Manage payments online
  • Access allergen information
  • Order meals up to a term in advance

All meals must be pre-ordered through SchoolGrid, including meals that are provided free of charge.

Parents and carers will receive a welcome email from SchoolGrid with instructions on how to activate their account and set a password. Once your account is active, you can begin ordering meals for your child.

Even if your child takes packed lunch, we encourage you to activate your account and declare any allergies so we can safely provide a meal for your child in any instance

Allergies and Medical Diet Requirements

If your child has an allergy, food intolerance or requires a medical diet plan, parents/carers must complete the Allergy and Medical Diet Request Form before meals can be provided.

Please ensure all dietary requirements are declared as early as possible. This information will be shared with the catering team to ensure appropriate meal choices can be provided safely.
