GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Today we joined together to celebrate #rednoseday for #ComicRelief with a splash of red. Thanks to the creative initiative from our School Council, pupils and staff added red shoes, socks, ties, tops, jumpers, and even face paint and hair accessories to their uniforms. We're thrilled to share that we've raised over £300 through cash donations and JustGiving - this is still open for this fantastic cause. Well done, everyone, for making the day such a colourful success. #glfschools

Well done to the 45 children who took part in our Science Fair. The 37 different investigations were so varied and included psychology, density, germination, the water cycle, wildlife, food, and geology. Thank you to Miss Brooks who organised this for us as our Science Lead. We are also grateful for all the parents' and carers' support. Every child who took part received a certificate, in addition we have some age group winners who were all expertly able to explain the Science behind their project (it was a very difficult decision). For the last 2 weeks we have been playing #bbcthetraitors . It has been such fun: laughter, competition, riddles, evictions, banishments, shield finding, some lying (...), missions and more! Thank you to Miss Oake who has led 30 staff through this. The final is tomorrow. 4 Traitors have been discovered! There are 8 people left and there will be 2 people out tonight.
